We know many people in our community may be experiencing financial hardship. If COVID-19 has made it hard for you to pay your rates, there are a number of options available to you. 

Option 1: Set-up a payment plan

You can apply for a weekly, fortnightly or monthly direct debit payment plan to spread the payment of your rates.

Option 2: Make changes to an existing payment plan

If you currently have a payment plan with us, but now need to make changes, you can apply for a new payment arrangement.

Option 3: Defer this quarter's instalment

In cases of extreme financial hardship we will consider a short-term deferral of your rates.

Please note,Council will not charge interest on any outstanding balances between 1 June 2020 and 31 December 2020. Penalty interest rates will apply to any outstanding balances as of 1 January 2021.
