About our Community Gardens

Hume City Council’s four community gardens are inviting enthusiastic community members to plant and harvest fresh, healthy and seasonal produce.

Beyond celebrating the success of harvest, the community gardens bring people together to be active, make new friends, learn new skills, and share knowledge and experiences.

Get involved by becoming a:

  • Garden Plot Member -  individual plots for individuals, families or groups; or
  • Friend of the Garden - receive updates and invites to events at garden

Become a member by completing the online Expression of interest form.

Conditions of use

Hume’s Community Garden’s are a space where local people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities are welcome. The community gardens are a space that promotes health, wellbeing, sustainability and friendships allowing people to come together to grow fruit and vegetables. The community gardens aim to provide a safe and harmonious environment that nurtures the sharing of gardening knowledge, experiences and skills.

All gardeners must sign and return the Hume City Council User Agreement to here to download and sign the agreement.
